In the first application, it is advisable to clean the surface with the strong SGRISER dewaxing detergent combined with RED BUFFER, in order to degrease, remove any treatments, open the pore of the material and prepare it for the first treatment with BRIGHTSTONE NERO. Always apply on clean and dry surfaces.

• Shake well before use;
• Distribute BRIGHTSTONE NERO with a fleece or microfiber cloth, wetting the surface evenly, following the absorption of the stone;
• After about 10-15 minutes, remove any excess product from the surface by rubbing it with a microfiber cloth or white disc;
• On highly absorbent materials it may be necessary to apply a second coat of the product.

It generally dries in 6-8 hours.

For the maintenance of the treatment over time, it is advisable to clean the treated surface with the UNIPUL detergent and, in case of fading, to apply a coat of BRIGHTSTONE NERO, in order to renew the treatment. To further protect the base treatment with BRIGHTSTONE NERO and to make the surface easier to clean and maintain, it is recommended to apply the anti-wear and anti-dirt finishing waxes IDROFIN LUCIDO / MATT, POLIFIN on the internal surfaces, or PAV05 on the external surfaces.

ATTENTION: once the work is finished, it is advisable not to accumulate rags, sponges, sawdust, etc., soaked in BRIGHTSTONE NERO and, due to the risk of self-ignition, it is advisable to wet them with water and dispose of them.

No, before applying BRIGHTSTONE NERO the surface must be cleaned, degreased, and dewaxed with SGRISER and RED BUFFER to recover the absorption of the material.

Is the treatment also stain-resistant?

Yes, the treatment with BRIGHTSTONE NERO is stain resistant, but you must always pay attention to acid substances. However, if the surface comes into contact with an acidic substance and becomes white again, it is sufficient to reapply a coat of BRIGHTSTONE NERO on the stain, in order to reunite the stone.

Should BRIGHTSTONE BLACK on the outside be reapplied?

Yes, once a year it is recommended to reapply a veil of BRIGHTSTONE NERO in spring in order to renew the treatment and restore it to its initial appearance. Outside, the treatments are very sensitive to atmospheric agents and UV rays from the sun and require more assiduous maintenance.

Can BRIGHTSTONE NERO also be applied to other surfaces besides slate?

Yes, BRIGHTSTONE NERO can be applied on all absorbent black surfaces and also on synthetic agglomerates (for example shower trays, kitchen tops …). The important thing is that these surfaces are absorbent.

Can I apply BRIGHTSTONE NERO on a kitchen counter?

Yes, the BRIGHTSTONE NERO product once dried on the surface, does not release toxic substances and food can also be placed on it.

Can I apply BRIGHTSTONE NERO on a shower enclosure?

Yes, if you want to have a wet effect on the surface, you can apply BRIGHTSTONE NERO on a shower tray, as it is also water resistant.

How to maintain surfaces treated with BRIGHTSTONE NERO?
