Specific stain remover to remove oil and food grease stains from stone surfaces, such as cotto, stone and cement.
Description
Characteristics and use:
TIXO is a strong thickened alkaline-solvent stain remover, specific for removing oil and grease stains of natural origin on all stone materials (e.g. cotto, stone, porcelain tiles, ceramic, cement and cement joints).
TIXO:
- removes grease stains of vegetable or animal origin, dry oils (e.g. flax oil and wood), deposits of encrusted and penetrated grease;
- is ideal where there is a need for long extraction times (stains deeply penetrated into the porosity of the material);
- thanks to the special microporous thickening material, the action of the product can be suitably and easily prolonged in time;
- can also be used to remove carbon black or soot from fireplaces, from stone materials;
- does not leave harmful residues in the absorbent material;
- leaves no unpleasant odors during use and in environments.
TIXO is the professional stain remover to remove oil stains and food grease from stone surfaces, such as cotto, stone and cement. TIXO effectively removes stains performing a protective action that lasts over time. It does not leave residues or unpleasant odors on cotto, stone and cement surfaces.
How to use
- Mix well before use;
- Proceed with the application of the product with a spatula taking care to leave a layer of at least 3-5 mm of TIXO on the stain to be removed;
- If necessary, the duration of the extractive action can be increased by covering the compress with a sheet of plastic material (kitchen film) in order to slow the evaporation;
- Always allow the pack to dry and then proceed to its dry removal with a nylon brush;
- Finally, rinse with acid solution of DELICACID diluted 1:10 in water or with neutral solution of UNIPUL diluted 1:3 in water on delicate materials (e.g. marble, polished grit);
- Repeat the application if necessary.
If used outdoors, it is advisable to avoid spreading the product on too hot and exposed to the sun.
On treated surfaces, the application of TIXO, being a strong alkaline stain remover, removes any treatments ( wax or resin). It is advisable to apply the product not only on the defined stain, but on all the affected tile or step so as to have a uniform surface and without halos.

• on average with 1kg of product about 1-2mq of surface are covered.
Faq
Should TIXO only be applied to the stain or even the entire tile?
It is advisable to apply TIXO over the entire tile, because otherwise you might see the clean and degreased surface where you applied the product, and a patina of dirt on the rest of the tile.
Can TIXO be applied to a treated surface?
Yes, it can be applied to all stone materials, treated and untreated ( even on delicate materials such as polished marble). Removes oil stains penetrated into the material without deteriorating it. When applied to treated surfaces, the product also removes any treatments. If the surface stains, it means that the treatment has degraded or has not been carried out optimally.
Can TIXO be used to remove soot from chimneys or stone surfaces?
Yes, it can completely or partially remove this problem.
Can it also remove engine oil stains on a stone floor?
Yes, but the total effectiveness of the removal depends on the roughness and /or surface porosity of the stone.
It will be total if the surface is smooth and non-porous, partial if the surface is rough or very porous.
Can I use it on concrete?
It can also be used on concrete and all stone materials.
