Stain protective agent for stone materials
Universal stain protective agent for cotto, klinker, stone, marble, granite, ceramic and terrazzo placed inside and outside. It does not alter the appearance of the material.
Description
Characteristics and use:
ANTISTAIN is a universal stain-resistant protective agent for stone materials: cotto, natural stone, marble, stone, cement, mineral plaster, and ceramic materials.
ANTISTAIN:
- can be applied to both internal and external surfaces;
- facilitates the cleaning of the absorbent material from dirt and stains;
- forms a chemical barrier that drastically reduces the absorption of dirt on the treated materials, making the external surfaces self-cleaning with rain;
- has high chemical inertness and resistance to atmospheric agents and trampling;
- does not create a film on the surface and does not alter the appearance of the material;
- can also be used as an anti-graffiti treatment on vertical surfaces. It protects surfaces and reduces the absorption of spray paints and markers;
- maintains the original permeability to water vapor, breathable;
- gives long-lasting anti-stain protection and can be reapplied as needed.
How to use
Apply to clean, dry absorbent surfaces. It can be used on untreated, dewaxed, or protected with water-repellents surfaces.
- It is applied with a brush, cloth or fleece wax spreader, distributing it evenly over the surface to create a wet “veil”;
- On poorly absorbent materials, it is advisable to dab any excesses during the drying phase. Do not rub ANTISTAIN to avoid foam formation;
- Any excess product after drying should be removed by massaging the surface with a cloth wet with ANTISTAIN;
- Normally dries in 1-2 hours depending on the ventilation.
Avoid that the freshly treated surfaces are wet by rain for about 8 hours or more.
Application types:
- 1 coat on stone materials inside;
- 2 coats on absorbent stone materials and outside.
Yield:
- on marble, granite, klinker, and other non-absorbent materials 1lt/ 15-20 m2;
- on terracotta, stones, grits, and other absorbent materials 1lt/ 6 – 10 m2.

Faq
Can I apply ANTISTAIN on stone walls?
Yes, it can be applied as an anti-graffiti on stone materials. It is an invisible product that reduces the absorption of sprays, preventing the graffiti from penetrating deeply into the material and making it easier to remove.
Is it advisable to wash the surface before applying ANTISTAIN?
Yes, if the surface is dirty and encrusted or if we do not know if it has ever been treated, before applying ANTISTAIN we always recommend cleaning the surface with SGRISER dewaxer and DELICACID descaler combined with BROWN BUFFER.
