• Shake TIROIL well before use;
• Apply TIROIL with a wax spreader, brush, or soft cloth, evenly wetting the surface and following material absorption;
• After about 10-15 minutes, remove excess product from the surface by rubbing it with a soft cloth and brush; Apply a second coat if necessary on a dry and non-sticky surface, following the same procedure as above;
• Apply only on rough surfaces and not perfectly sanded (Max 80-100 grain). Generally, one or two coats of TIROIL are required depending on material absorption.

It generally dries in 24-48 hours, depending on ventilation and temperature.

WARNING: Once finished, it is recommended not to accumulate cloths, sponges, sawdust, etc., soaked in TIROIL. Due to the risk of self-combustion, it is recommended to wet them with water and dispose of them.

What is the difference between treatment with TIROIL impregnator and paint?

Treatment with TIROIL impregnator is more recoverable over time because the wooden surface does not have a rigid surface finish that wears away with foot traffic, unlike paint, which does. If properly maintained, this finish does not need to be sanded down, unlike paint, which may require this process due to wear. In case of improper maintenance, there is no need to sand the surface; instead, it can be cleaned with PULIBRILL detergent and the TIROIL, BIOTOP, or BIOTOP OPACO treatment cycle reapplied.

Why do you recommend applying BIOTOP or BIOTOP OPACO once TIROIL has dried?

BIOTOP is an anti-wear anti-dirt wax that protects the underlying TIROIL treatment. It needs to be periodically maintained with BIOCARE or BIOCARE OPACO products to replenish the protection of the floor that may be worn down by daily use and foot traffic.

Can I customize treatments with TIROIL?

Yes, treatments can be customized based on the wood species being treated and the desired aesthetic effect. During TIROIL treatment cycles, reactive and aging primers (such as OX-FIVE and OX FIVE-PLUS), bleaching primers (DECO2), and colored primers (FONDO COLARIN2 and FONDO BIANCO40) can be applied. Additionally, the oil can be pigmented with OILTONER pigments.

Is TIROIL only suitable for floors?

No, it can also be used on furniture, doors, and all internal wooden surfaces (tables, worktops, etc.).
