Apply to clean and dry absorbent surfaces. It can also be applied to untreated, de-waxed or water-repellent surfaces.

• Shake before use;
• It can be applied by distributing the product evenly with a brush, microfiber cloth, sponge or spreading fleece by wetting the surface to be treated and following the absorption of the material;
• In case of low absorbent materials it is advisable to redistribute on the surface any excess product on the material during the drying phase;
• In case of very absorbent materials, the application of a possible second coat must be carried out as soon as the first one has been absorbed and without waiting for it to dry (wet on wet);
• Normally dries in 6-8 hours depending on the ventilation.

Avoid that newly treated surfaces are wet from rain for about 8 hours or more.

It is applied to material saturation:

• 1 coat: on medium absorption materials;
• 2 coats: on high absorption materials.

Yield:

• on low absorbent materials 1 lt/ 8 – 15 sqm;
• on very absorbent materials 1 lt/ 4 – 8 sqm.

EXCEL PLUS is a professional oil-repellent protective, but easy to use, specific for absorbent stone materials such as cotto, absorbent stone, plasters, cement and cementitious agglomerates both internal and external. EXCEL PLUS is a water based protective product whose purpose is to eliminate and reduce the absorption capacity of liquid and fat substances.

How often should EXCEL PLUS be applied?

If the product is applied under the waxes, it is not necessary to reapply it, but it will be necessary to reapply the maintenance waxes (especially inside).
On the outside, if EXCEL PLUS is applied without PAV05 wax, it is recommended to reapply it 1 time every 2 years. 

EXCEL PLUS changes the color or creates a film of the material?

No, it’s transparent and non-film-forming. It can be seen that the material is treated with EXCEL PLUS when water or staining solutions (e.g. oil, wine, vinegar) are spilled on it and the latter remain on the surface, not penetrating the material.

Should EXCEL PLUS be used pure or diluted?

The product should be used pure. On very absorbent materials apply also two coats, wet on wet.

Using EXCEL PLUS can affect the already existing waterproofing for shower enclosure floor? Does it make it slippery? Is it toxic if you walk in barefoot?

The EXCEL PLUS product does not affect the existing unblocking, but increases it. The EXCEL PLUS product is transparent and does not create films, does not change the roughness of the material and therefore does not make it slippery. The product is absolutely NOT TOXIC.

The product is not classified as hazardous pursuant to the provisions set forth in EC Regulation 1272/2008 (CLP) (and subsequent amendments and supplements).
