Impregnator for wood
Fast drying impregnator for internal wooden floors. Ideal for natural or pigmented impregnating treatment and for restoring oil-impregnated surfaces. Easy to apply even in wet seasons.
Description
Characteristics and use:
OLIO TECNO is an oil-waxy impregnator for wooden floors and parquet placed inside.
OLIO TECNO:
- is a water-oleophobic primer with a wide range of use;
- dries more quickly than other impregnating agents and is therefore ideal for industrial applications, hand-made treatments during the seasons or in humid environments;
- form a resistant, non-sticky, oil-waxy protection, easy to shine and keep over time;
- does not form superficial films. Does not leaf or create peelings;
- it can be easily restored without the need for sanding the wood and is also recommended for the restoration of surfaces treated with thinned oil;
- can be pigmented with 3-15% OILTONER for customized effects.
To increase the protection of the surface treated with OLIO TECNO and facilitate cleaning and maintenance, the application of BIOTOP or BIOTOP OPACO to complete the treatment is strongly recommended.
Do not apply OLIO TECNO on painted woods.
How to use
Apply only on rough and not perfectly sanded surfaces (Max 80 -100 grit). In general, one or two steps of OLIO TECNO are necessary depending on the absorption of the material.
- Shake OLIO TECNO before use;
- Distribute OLIO TECNO with spreading fleece, brush or soft cloth wetting the surface homogeneously and following the absorption of the material;
- After about 10-15 minutes remove the excess product from the surface by rubbing it with soft cloth and brush;
- Apply a second coat on a dry, non-sticky surface, as above.
Generally dry in 12 hours.
WARNING: once finished processing, it is advisable not to accumulate rags, sponges, sawdust etc. soaked in OLIO TECNO for the danger of spontaneous combustion, it is advisable to wet them with water and dispose of them.
Yield:
- on wood absorbent or coarse finish 1lt / 12-15 m²;
- on low absorbent wood (teak, Iroko) 1lt / 20-30 m²;
- on very compact woods 1t / > 30 m².
