Description
Characteristics and use:
VIACEM is a strong buffered acid detergent for cotto and terracotta.
VIACEM:
- can be used for descaling after installation or after construction, for the removal of efflorescence, cement encrustations, paints;
- can be used for the seasonal cleaning of the cotto floors placed outside, subject to limestone encrustations due to atmospheric agents;
- compared to conventional muriatic acid, it exhales less corrosive fumes, has greater emulsion capacity than solid dirt and a more controlled dissolution action.
Do not use on natural stones, cement agglomerates and non-acid resistant materials.
How to use
It is advisable to test the material for resistance to VIACEM.
- Pure: on incrustations and consisting and tenacious calcareous deposits and large residues of cement grouts;
- VIACEM diluted in an equal part of water: for washings where a normal descaling action is needed and in the neutralization of previous alkaline washes.
How to use the product:
- Spread the product on the surface and let it act, if possible, a few minutes;
- Rub the surface with brown plastic fiber pads or discs or nylon brushes, tynex or carborundum until dirt is removed;
- Repeat washing if necessary;
- Always rinse with plenty of water.
Yield: Depending on the dirt to be removed and the absorption of the material:
- for energetic washings 1 lt / 3-6 m²;
- for normal washings 1 lt / 8-12 m².

VIACEM is the strong buffered acid detergent specific for post-site cleaning. The product contributes to the removal of the most insidious incrustations, such as cement, efflorescence and paints. Also used for seasonal cleaning of terracotta, VIACEM is perfect for removing limestone deposits caused by atmospheric agents.
Can you use it to clean the toilet and sink drain ducts?
No, acid products are not used to clean ducts because they damage metals and chrome plating on pipes. The ideal product in these cases is SGRISER.
Can the product be used with a pressure washer?
No, it should be used with BUFFER. Afterwards, it is possible to rinse with pressure washer.
Does it remove oil stains in an untreated cotto floor?
No. If it is animal or vegetable oil the suitable product is TIXO; if it is synthetic oil, it is SOLVOSIL. If you want to wash and descale the surface you can apply VIACEM with the help of BROWN BUFFER.
Can it be used for routine cleaning?
No, the product is used for post-site cleaning.
