Strong Decerating Cleaning
Professional solution for restoring natural stone floors. The product eliminates stubborn dirt, residues of old oil and wax treatments, and signs of wear, restoring the stone to its original appearance. It restores brightness and the absorption of the stone material, preparing the surface for new protective treatments.
Where and when
The intensive decerating system is a highly effective solution for the regeneration of stone and marble floors that have suffered significant deterioration of treatment. This specialized cleaning system has been specially formulated to:
- Deeply eliminate previous oil and/or wax protective treatments;
- Address issues arising from prolonged lack of maintenance;
- Counteract the effects of natural aging;
- Remove stubborn deposits caused by rising moisture.
The intensive decerating procedure works deeply on the surface, completely eliminating the residues of previous treatments. This allows:
- A thorough cleaning of the flooring;
- Removing accumulated layers of dirt and old treatments;
- Preparing the surface for the application of a new protective treatment.
Through this process, it is possible to thoroughly clean and recover stone and marble floors that appeared irreparably damaged, restoring their original appearance and preparing them for a new phase of recovery and protection.

- This intensive cleaning system is generally applied once, as it aims to completely restore the surface of the floor.
Performance and consumption
For the removal of oil and/or wax protective treatments from stone and marble surfaces, a methodology is used that involves the combined use of two specific products: SGRISER and DELICACID, along with mechanical action.
SGRISER is a highly effective alkaline detergent, particularly suitable for:
- Removing obsolete layers of protective treatments and waxes
- Eliminating grease deposits and stubborn dirt
- Treating biological encrustations and external blackening
- Facilitating the removal of dark stains caused by sulphation
- Leaving no harmful residues on the material or unpleasant odors during use
DELICACID is a low-impact acid detergent characterized by controlled action, particularly suitable for cleaning sensitive stone materials like stone and marble. It is applied after SGRISER to:
- Neutralize the alkaline effect of SGRISER
- Remove efflorescence caused by rising moisture
- Eliminate any traces of cement and paints
DELICACID offers significant advantages over conventional muriatic acid:
- Does not produce fumes or toxic vapors
- Superior ability to emulsify solid dirt
- More controlled dissolving action
- No hydrochloric acid in its composition
It is recommended to avoid applying DELICACID on limestone surfaces with a polished finish, such as marble or travertine, as it may cause surface corrosion. In the presence of such materials, it is advisable to rinse thoroughly with water to completely remove SGRISER. If in doubt, it is suggested to perform a preliminary test with DELICACID on an inconspicuous area of the surface to be treated.
The effectiveness of the treatment is enhanced by the use of brushes and plastic fiber discs for mechanical action.
Strong Decerating Action
-Apply the pure SGRISER product to the surface and let it act for at least 10-20 minutes;
-Scrub the surface with pads or plastic fiber discs or with nylon brushes;
-In cases of difficult-to-remove treatments, the SGRISER product can be worked in and left to dry on the surface for up to 12 hours to increase decerating power;
-Repeat the washing if necessary;
Yield: Depending on the dirt to be removed and the material's absorption:
-For vigorous washing 1 liter / 4-8 sqm.

Neutralizing Action
-Dilute 250-300cc of DELICACID in 1 liter of water;
-Apply the diluted DELICACID product to the surface and, if possible, let it act for a few minutes;
-Scrub the surface with red pads or plastic fiber discs until the dirt is removed;
-Repeat the washing if necessary;
-Always rinse with plenty of water.
Yield:
-To remove significant calcium residues: 1 liter / 4-6 sqm.
