The strong decerating process acts intensively on the surface, completely eliminating residues of previous treatments. This allows you to:

Performance and consumption

The decerating system for terracotta floors treated with oil and/or wax is based on the combined use of two products: SGRISER and VIACEM, along with mechanical action.

SGRISER is a strong alkaline decerating agent, ideal for:

Removing old oil and wax treatments
Eliminating greasy deposits and stubborn dirt
Removing biological encrustations and external blackening
Facilitating the removal of dark stains from sulphation
Does not leave harmful residues or unpleasant odors

VIACEM is a buffered acid specifically for terracotta, used in combination with SGRISER to:

Neutralize the action of SGRISER
Remove efflorescence from rising moisture
Eliminate cement encrustations and paints

Advantages of VIACEM over muriatic acid:

Lower emission of corrosive fumes
Greater ability to emulsify solid dirt
More controlled dissolution action

The effectiveness of the treatment is enhanced by the use of brushes and plastic fiber discs for mechanical action.

Strong Decerating Action

-Apply the pure SGRISER product to the surface and let it act for at least 10-20 minutes;
-Scrub the surface with pads or plastic fiber discs or with nylon brushes;
-In cases of difficult-to-remove treatments, the SGRISER product can be worked in and left to dry on the surface for up to 12 hours to increase decerating power;
-Repeat the washing if necessary;
Yield: Depending on the dirt to be removed and the material's absorption:
-For vigorous washing 1 liter / 4-8 sqm.

Ideal for: Descaling cleaning on cotto and porcelain tiles; Dewaxing cleaning on cotto, stone and cement.

Neutralizing Action

-Apply the VIACEM product diluted 50% in water to the surface and, if possible, let it act for a few minutes; -Scrub the surface with brown pads, plastic fiber discs, tynex discs, or carborundum discs (Recommended on handmade terracotta) until the dirt is removed; -Repeat the washing if necessary; -Always rinse with plenty of water. Yield: Depending on the dirt to be removed and the material's absorption: -For vigorous washing 1 liter / 3-6 sqm; -For normal washing 1 liter / 8-12 sqm.
