Routine cleaning and maintenance of microcement treated with wax

Where and when

Where:

• This routine cleaning and maintenance system is designed for cement agglomerate surfaces placed indoors, such as grit, cement tiles, Venetian or Genovese tiles, treated with wax.

When:

• For ordinary cleaning FLORA is used.
• For extraordinary maintenance, two maintenance waxes can be used, depending on the desired effect: REFIX LUCIDO or REFIX MATT.

Frequency of use:

• FLORA is used for routine cleaning;

• REFIX LUCIDO is applied once every 6/12 months depending on footfall in rooms:
  • • once every 6 months in areas of high footfall and wear (e.g. kitchen, bathroom, public areas);
    • every 12 months in areas with low footfall and wear (e.g. sleeping areas).

The application of REFIX LUCIDO serves to renew the treatment of the floor treated with glossy finishing waxes (like IDROFIN LUCIDO) and to maintain the aesthetic and protective characteristics of the initial treatment.

• REFIX MATT is applied once every 6/12 months depending on the amount of footfall in the rooms:
  • • once every 6 months in areas with high footfall and wear (e.g. kitchen, bathroom, public areas);
    • every 12 months in areas with low footfall and wear (e.g. sleeping areas).

The application of REFIX MATT serves to renew the treatment of the floor treated with glossy finishing waxes (like IDROFIN MATT) and to maintain the aesthetic and protective characteristics of the initial treatment.

Performance and consumption

FLORA:

• is a neutral sanitizing detergent that cleans and does not spoil stone materials and wax treatments;
• is ideal for the ordinary cleaning of floors and surfaces in cotto, stone and terrazzo;
• leaves no halos and releases a pleasant scent of lavender in the rooms;
• is a low foaming detergent and can be used with scrubber-dryers.

REFIX LUCIDO:

• is a water based product, not dangerous and easy to use;
• preserves and protects over time the protective and aesthetic characteristics of the initial glossy finish;
• makes the surfaces easier to clean and maintain;
• renews the surface protection of the treatment;
• does not form films or glossy films;
• leaves a pleasant smell in the environment;
• it can be dry polished to increase and maintain gloss.

REFIX MATT:

• is a water-based, non-hazardous and easy-to-use product;
• preserves and protects the protective and aesthetic characteristics of the initial matt finish over time;
• makes surfaces easier to clean and maintain;
• renews the surface protection of the treatment;
• does not form films or shiny films;
• leaves a pleasant odour in the environment;
• is a self-dispersing wax.
