Repolishing of glossy terrazzo floors
The polishing system of terrazzo is an effective solution to restore the gloss and integrity of surfaces in terrazzo such as marble floors, palladian, grit and cement that over time have suffered wear and corrosion due to domestic substances. This system is able to remove micro-scratches and corrosion, returning to the surface its original splendor.

Performance and consumption
UNIPUL:
- is ideal for ordinary and extraordinary cleaning of all hard, absorbent, and non-absorbent surfaces (cotto, klinker, stone, marble, terrazo, ceramic materials, metal, wood, laminates, PVC, and synthetic surfaces in general);
- can be used at low concentrations for the ordinary cleaning of all surfaces;
- can be used more concentrated for intensive degreasing cleaning, without damaging the materials;
- if used concentrated can be used to remove old blackened and deteriorated superficial layers of wax on already treated surfaces, without deteriorating the basic treatment;
- can be used for cleaning after installation of delicate materials (eg slates, marble, and polished grits);
- is a low-foaming detergent and can be used with scrubber-dryers;
- does not leave halos on the material and releases a pleasant scent in the rooms.
PRELUX DISC MARBEC:
- has a diameter of 432 mm;
- is a multi-grain diamond disc used for the pre-polishing of natural stone floors (marble, travertine, granite) in porcelain tiles, cement, grit and composite materials;
- is impregnated directly inside the support for a thickness of 3-4mm. This specificity makes the PRELUX DISC MARBEC unique and far superior to those ‘sprayed’ that can be found on the market distinguishing themselves from these in addition to their high productivity;
- is recommended before the application of KW-STAR as it speeds up the polishing work of the surfaces by levelling the degree of gloss, removing opacification and wear from the surfaces, light corrosions and scratches making the surface easier to polish.
KW-STAR:
- is ideal for recovering shiny, opaque surfaces from wear and corrosive substances;
- is used to restore shine to wall coverings, kitchen tops, bathroom tops and marble flooring, grit and terrazzo;
- is a micro-abrasive polishing powder product that works thanks to the mechanical action: the greater the mechanical action, the higher the gloss;
- does not create films and does not change the natural appearance of the material;
- can be reapplied for small touches if necessary;
- makes the surfaces not very permeable to water and dirt, facilitating ordinary cleaning.
Material preparation for recovery
• The concentration of use depends on the kind of dirt to be removed.
Dosages:
• Pure or diluted 1 part of UNIPUL in 1 part of water: to carry out after laying washing of extraordinary delicate materials (e.g. marble, polished grits and delicate stones) and to carry out extraordinary cleaning of removal of excess blackened by dirt and maintenance wax, without completely removing the deep treatment.
• Spread UNIPUL on the flooring;
• Leave to act for a few minutes and then rub the surface with medium hard red buffers;
• Remove the residue with a microfibre cloth and rinse with clean water;
• In the case of treated surfaces, then apply a coat of anti-dirt and anti-wear finish.

Schleifen
The PRELUX DISC is used with a single-disc machine.
• Wet the surface to be pre-polished, apply the PRELUX DISC and rub with a single-brush machine, until a white paste forms;
• Keep the surface wet while applying the PRELUX DISC;
• Remove the residue with water and sponge and leave to dry.
Yield: • approximately 400 – 700 m².

Polishing and crystallization
• Pour 20-60 gr of KW-STAR powder on the surface, place the WHITE DISC and spray the water in the area surrounding the disc during scrubbing, until the appearance of a white paste.
• Proceed by working the product on a few square meters at a time for a few minutes.
• Add water to the powder to maintain the creaminess of the product. Do not let the paste dry on the surface.
• Once the polishing process is finished, remove the residues with liquid vacuums, sponges or soft cloths.
• After polishing the entire surface, rinse with UNIPUL detergent, diluting 50 ml in one litre of water, in order to degrease the surface.
• Repeat the procedure described above with a single brush for a few square meters at a time.
Yield: • depending on the porosity and nature of the material to be polished and the number of applications. Normally 1 kg / 30-40 m².
