Characteristics and use:
TON PLUS is a wet-effect protective, hydro-oil repellent specific for stone materials with high absorption (terracotta, stones, cement agglomerates…).
TON PLUS:
- is a water-based product, odourless, not dangerous and easy to use;
- can be applied on both internal and external surfaces;
- forms a chemical barrier against rising humidity and stain;
- gives a marked lasting wet effect on the material without creating film on the surface, does not alter the appearance of the material;
- eliminates or drastically reduces the absorption of water and liquids, fatty substances and oils in the material;
- counteracts the formation of saline efflorescence and biological incrustations;
- is a protective that is normally used as the basis of wax treatments;
- has a high chemical inertia and resistance to weathering and trampling;
- maintains the original permeability to water vapor; it is breathable.

Product description
TON PLUS is a high-performance stain protection product for stone or terracotta finishes. Thanks to its advanced formula, this product creates a highly water- and oil-resistant chemical barrier, providing a remarkable ‘wet effect’ without generating surface films or artificial gloss. Furthermore, it drastically reduces the material’s absorption capacity and it prevents the penetration of greasy and pigmented substances, thus facilitating the cleaning and maintenance of treated surfaces.
Being a water-based product, it is safe for the user, and also environmentally friendly. In fact, it presents no risk of toxicity or harmful emissions. Moreover, its application not only enhances the natural aesthetics of the stone, but also intensifies its colour without altering its original texture. Consequently, it becomes an ideal solution for both indoor and outdoor spaces. It prolongs the life and beauty of surfaces by preventing the appearance of stains and stubborn dirt. However, it is important to note that TON PLUS is not recommended for polished stone or ceramic materials, as its effect is optimised for porous finishes. In short, thanks to its innovative technology, this stain repellent provides effective and long-lasting protection, keeping the stone in optimal condition with minimal maintenance.
How to use
Apply on clean, dry and untreated surfaces.
- Shake well before use;
- It can be applied by distributing the product evenly with a brush, microfiber cloth, sponge or spreading fleece by wetting the surface to be treated and following the absorption of the material;
- Avoid creating overlaps when writing TON PLUS;
- Buffer any excess during the drying phase;
- Where necessary, after at least 2 – 4 hours or at least a perfectly dry surface, it is possible to apply a second layer of TON PLUS or strengthen the stain protection with EXCEL PLUS.
Avoid that newly treated surfaces are exposed to the weather during the drying phase (12 – 24 hours). Then, after 4-6 hours you can apply a PRIMAMANO, IDROFIN or PAV05 type finish.
Yield: normally 1 lt / 6 -15 sqm.
