Description

Characteristics and Usage:

ROYAL WAX is a paste-based finisher made from specific waxes, designed for handmade terracotta and cotto surfaces with rough and absorbent textures, intended for indoor use.

ROYAL WAX:

Offers excellent penetration and coverage of the stone fibers;
Its unique production technique allows for a high concentration of wax;
Forms a protective barrier against dirt while enhancing the beauty and charm of the material, with excellent resistance to foot traffic and dirt;
Is easily polishable and can be restored over time;
Unlike traditional paste waxes, the creamy consistency of ROYAL WAX allows for cold application without preheating;
Provides easy application and rapid drying (4 – 6 hours in well-ventilated environments);
Can be pigmented with OILTONER at 3-15% to achieve customized effects;
Does not leave unpleasant odors during use or in enclosed spaces.

ROYAL WAX can also be mixed with TUSCANIA OIL or PALLADIUM to add more tonal variations to the treated material.

To increase the protection of surfaces treated with ROYAL WAX and to facilitate cleaning and maintenance, it is highly recommended to complete the treatment with IDROFIN MATT / GLOSSY or POLIFIN.

How to use

In general, one or two coats of ROYAL WAX are needed, depending on the absorption and roughness of the material. The product should only be applied on surfaces treated with water repellents.

Apply ROYAL WAX in small doses with a brush over a few square meters and spread the product by rubbing the surface with a single-disc machine equipped with soft tampico brushes or a soft brush, distributing the wax into the pores of the material until saturation and leaving a light film of product on the surface.
After drying, polish the surface with a soft pad or soft brush.
Apply a second coat, if necessary, on a dry and non-sticky surface, following the same procedure as above

Generally dries in 8 hours.
Do not apply in environments with persistent rising damp.
