Diamond discs for polishing marble and polished stone
The DIAMOND DISCS, used in combination in the four colours, are ideal for the recovery and re-polishing of polished marble and cement agglomerates (terrazzo, palladium, etc.) that have been heavily damaged by acidic substances (corrosion), dulled by use or limescale build-up, or that show scratches.
Description
The MARBEC DIAMOND DISC 125MM is ideal for the recovery and removal of micro-scratches from polished marble and cement agglomerates (grit, palladium, concrete, etc.).
MARBEC DIAMOND DISC 125MM:
- This is suitable for re-polishing and removing stains due to wear, lime crusts or acid substances and scratches on heavily damaged stairs, walls and bathroom tops.
- It should be used in conjunction with a drill or screwdriver.
- With the MARBEC DIAMOND DISC 125MM you can do up to about 8/10 sqm.
- Always use water as a lubricant.
- In combination with Marbec KW-STAR and MARMOLUX products, it polishes mirror surfaces and provides protection.
- Available in four colours. They should be used in four successive steps.
- When not using an adjustable speed drill, adjust the pressure accordingly.
- Use clean water with each pass.
- Repeat the process if necessary.
- Pressure must be applied to each pass when working on marble or agglomerate.
- Do not use on granite, quartz or resin tops.
Four multigrain colours:
1 RED DIAMOND DISC 125MM MARBEC diamond paper for the first step of roughing marble, stone and agglomerate;
1 ORANGE DIAMOND DISC 125MM MARBEC diamond-coated paper for the second roughing phase of marble, stone and agglomerate;
1 YELLOW DIAMOND DISC 125MM MARBEC diamond paper for the third pre-sanding stage of marble, stone and agglomerate;
1 BLUE DIAMOND DISC 125MM MARBEC diamond pad for the fourth step of polishing marble, stone and agglomerate.
How to use
1st Step, RED DIAMOND DISC MARBEC:
– Roughing –
This is the most important step of all. If the first pass is not performed well, the following passes will not have an optimal result.
- The surface must be clean before starting (remove any previous film-forming treatments such as waxes or resins).
- Add water and slowly pass the RED DIAMOND DISC MARBEC with the drill.
- Apply the product with the drill making small uniform circular movements on the surface until the water changes colour and a mush forms.
- Remove the dirty water afterwards.
- Sanding will need to be repeated depending on the condition of the surface.
2nd step, ORANGE DIAMOND DISC MARBEC:
– Sanding –
With this second pass, continue to sand the surface finer and finer. Repeat the steps of the first application using the ORANGE DIAMOND DISC MARBEC.
3rd step, YELLOW DIAMOND DISC MARBEC:
– Pre-polishing (2 TIMES) –
With this third step we will already obtain some polish. Add water and repeat the steps of the first application using YELLOW DIAMOND DISC MARBEC. Clean the surface and let it dry. Repeat the process again and remove the dirty water.
4th step, BLUE DIAMOND DISC MARBEC:
– Polishing (2 TIMES) –
Repeat step 3 using the BLUE DIAMOND DISC MARBEC. With this step we will obtain shine. The colour of the water will no longer be so cloudy.
